North Carolina Waterfalls
With the west side of the state holing part of the Appalachian mountains, North Carolina is home to many waterfalls and hiking trails.
The Blue Ridge Parkway runs through the tops of the Appalachians, and is home to many scenic overlooks, hiking trails, and numerous falls. However, water falls can be found through out the mountains in various national and state parks, as well as some privately owned areas.
